Any updates on implementing an approximate PAGE COUNT in files?

Here someone is talking about having page counts. I was wondering if there had been any updates on this, as I think that would be a great feature.

Please, there’s no need to open a new thread. Keep on the old one. The better word count plugin somewhat does what your are asking
