That happened to me once, too, one version back. It corrected itself after two restarts and hasn’t occurred since. I’m on Mac. You?

I’m not sure what it might be causing it. Play around with this setting (turning it on or off) see if the problem keeps happening.

Your computer might not have enough resources to make Obsidian run smoothly all the time.

Bizarre display corruption

When I opened my Mac this morning and switched to Obsidian, it looked like this: [Screen Shot 2021-01-05 at 9.41.54 am] Tried quitting and re-opening it, but it still happened. Tried logging out and back in again, still the same thing. It’s the only app affected. I’ll try a full reboot, but thinking perhaps something in my theme/css snippets? Garbled window

I am not sure how to reproduce this, but obsidian is stuck in this mode with a garbled window for every vault: [Screen Shot 2021-04-22 at 11.23.40 AM] I am using Obsidian 0.11.13 in macOS 11.2.3. I have tried deleting /Users/scott/Library/Application Support/obsidian but that did not help.

I’m on a MBP 16 inches with 16GB of RAM so the issue is probably not my machine.

Update: When I open the app today, after leaving the settings from the dark theme to light when this happens, now it’s turning back to normal. I don’t know why but I guess @rigmarole link suggest it may be because of known bug in the Chromium engine.
