I want to have a block common to multiple pages and the block has to be editable from any page. The edits should sync automatically and reflect on all the pages simultaneously. This is what happens in Notion with ‘synced blocks’ feature. I am wondering if it is possible in Obsidian too.
I tried block references in obsidian but it merely shows the original block and we can’t edit the block without clicking the link and visiting the source page of the block.
To my knowledge there is nothing like that for obsidian.
However there is a feature requests for something that sounds similar to what you are trying to achieve. I encourage you to like the post so the developers may include it in a future update. Until then there is a work around solution that might work for you.
