Annotator Help: PDF doesn't load despite property line "annotation target" loads

What I’m trying to do

I want to load my PDF thru annotator. I use annotator on another computer flawlessly but have issues on my new laptop.

Things I have tried

My PDF doesn’t load despite having the subject line explicitly say annotation target. I also renamed my PDF to a short name to avoid any confusion on my part. I also created a new vault as to not have any interference from other community plugins.

If Annotator doesn’t open pdfs it’s usually because of wrong paths.
Just switch to source mode and check if the path to your pdf is correct
