The Spellcheck feature is not highlighting misspelled words on the Android mobile app

Steps to reproduce

Type a misspelled word, like asdf

Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? Y

Expected result

The misspelled word should have a red line under it indicating the error.

Actual result

The misspelled word is not underlined in red

The spellchecker works for me. You need to tap on the document once.

I ended up having to change my Android “Default spell checker” setting. Thanks for looking into this for me. I’m not sure why my old setting stopped working. It wasn’t working for other apps as well.
