When creating a new vault in the parent folder “/storage/emulated/0/Documents/Obsidian” on Android using Obsidian 1.0.4, the vault shows up twice in the list of recently used vaults. If I pick any other parent folder, the duplicate entry isn’t created. I tried this on three different phones, one of them having a fresh Obsidian installation.
Steps I took:
- Clicked “Create a new vault”
- “Vault location” → “Choose” → selected “Documents/Obsidian” and granted access
- Entered vault name (“Test1” in my case)
- Clicked “Create”
Result:
- After reopening the vault switcher, “Test1” shows up twice in the list of recently opened vaults. This persists even after forcibly closing (force stop) and restarting Obsidian. Both entries point to the same vault and actions on those entries will affect the vault equally (eg. deleting either will make the vault and both corresponding entries disappear)
