Android app text inserting enter key while typing

I’m trying to add text in my note and it’s like someone keeps hitting enter and the cursor moves down 3 lines in the middle of a sentence. I even sat the phone down and watched it happen. I can’t take notes with the app.

I have a galaxy s21. Everything is up to date.

Try turning off predictive text and/or switching keyboards. Your problem sounds a little different from the one others are having (search Samsung keyboard here for details), but maybe it’ll help.
