Android APK on github releases

What I’m trying to do

I would like to install the Android app but don’t have Play Store.

Things I have tried

I was looking for an APK in the github releases repo but didn’t find one:

Am I missing something obvious? I’m interested in the APK. Most forum posts ask for F-Droid releases.

I think you can get an APK if you pay the one-time fee to get Catalyst builds of the app, but those are betas.

Thanks, but I am not interested in that. I am just curious why there are binaries for all platforms on Github but Android.

I’d guess because all of the other platforms are desktop OSes where a binary is Obsidian’s only installation method. (There isn’t an iOS binary, is there?)
