An Error Occurred while loading Obsidian

I set up Obsidian last night on the mac and getting the iPadOS version running. I added Further notes this morning on the ipad and left it in a happy state.

I came to reopen it this afternoon and I get an error message saying that I can’t load the app as “uncle.md” is missing. I don’t even have a file called Uncle.md

The MacOS version works fine, so I doubt it’s an issue with the file structure. I can add a new vault on iPadOS, but can’t delete the vault or it says it will delete all of my files.

I can’t do ANYTHING on the iPadOS version now.

How do I go about diagnosing this please?

I’ve now both rebooted the ipad and deleted then re-installed obsidian through TestFlight with no change.

I’m also getting the same error on my iPhone.

So the error may be linked to the files, but doesn’t affect the MacOS version

I’ve got to the bottom of this. It was something to do with backslashes in the name of note. Truly bizarre
