Allow user to decide page preview command

Use case or problem

Hello, as of now the only way to to trigger page preview is with ctrl. I press ctrl to do so many things, and it keeps accidently triggering page preview.

Proposed solution

Just make it a hotkey or something and let user decide how to trigger it.

A thousand times yes!

I wish I could set it to the Option key instead.

I ended up disabling the plugin altogether because the constant unintentional triggers drove me crazy. It felt like browsing a sketchy website without an ad blocker.

Whose brilliant idea was it to use the most used modifier key to trigger a preview? The key that’s part of, you know, most hotkeys, including Ctrl/Cmd-C, Ctrl/Cmd-V and Ctrl/Cmd-X, and which you hold down when you want to open something in a new tab!

I have Hover Editor installed. My current workaround is this: if I want to open a preview, I right click on a link and choose Open in Hover Editor. While less convenient, at least it eliminates the problem of accidental pop-ups.

Rationale: oftentimes, the HE is triggered unintentionally. Mainly, this is due …to most hotkeys involving the Ctrl/Cmd key, and the cursor often being positioned over wikilinks when invoking hotkeys. This is especially irritating when the HE pops up unintentionally as: 1. You work near internal links and invoke the hotkeys `Ctrl/Cmd-X`, `Ctrl/Cmd-C` and `Ctrl/Cmd-V`. 2. You use `Ctrl/Cmd` with arrow keys to navigate paragraphs. 3. You click a link with Ctrl/Cmd held down—to open the link in a new tab. This problem was previously brought up in: - https://github.com/nothingislost/obsidian-hover-editor/issues/106 - https://github.com/nothingislost/obsidian-hover-editor/issues/84 With such setting, I would swap the Ctrl/Cmd key to the Option key. But, ideally, all modifier keys would be supported, including Shift, Fn, and Control (on Mac). ### Workarounds 1. While the Hover Trigger Delay setting can help some, it's more of a band-aid than a solution, and comes with the downside of a longer delay before the HE appears when you actually want it to. 2. One can disable the modifier key in Page preview settings. This will bring up the HE when hovering over links, without having pressed any key. This doesn't work for me because I only want the HE to pop up when I decide to. The HE appearing on hover automatically would be even more annoying that the problem posed in this issue.
