Allow the use of brackets and single quotes in tags

Use case or problem

Currently, Obsidian only supports single-word tags, as well as imposing other restrictions that are not necessary (unlike restricting the file names, where the situation is more complex).

One of those unnecessary limitations is the restriction of ordinary brackets in tag names as well as single quotes (like: Catherine O'Hara or Italy's debt). It would be very nice to have restrictions lifted.

Here is how I use this functionality in Evernote (together with allowed space):

  • AA (Alcoholics Anonymous)
  • Anti-Defamation League (ADL)
  • Aku Ankka (Donald Duck)
  • Associated Press (AP)
  • BND (Germany’s secret service)
  • Echo Moskvy (Эхо Москвы)
  • Efficiency (optimization)
  • Efficiency (productivity)
  • Elon Musk (Tesla, SpaceX)
  • European Court of Human Rights (ECHR)
  • Drugs (medicine)
  • Drugs (drugs)
  • Garbage (trash)
  • Rust (Programming Language)
  • hiphop (culture)
  • HipHop (PHP compiler)
  • Washington Post (Amazon’s Jeff Bezos)
  • Lars Von Trier (movies)
  • Matchmaking (mma)
  • Myanmar (Burma)
  • Cod wars (1958–1961)
  • Cod wars (1972–1973)
  • Philantropy (charity)
  • Philosophy (filosofia)
  • Novorossija (Novorossiya, Novorussia)
  • Piracy
  • Piracy (real)
  • Referendum (voting)
  • UAE (United Arab Emirates)
  • Dallas Mavericks (basketball Mark Cuban)
  • Zimbabwe (Rhodesia)
  • Georgia (Grusia country)
  • Georgia (state)
  • Carolina (ex-GF)
  • Carolina (North)
  • Carolina (South)
  • Carolina Hurricanes (ice-hockey)
  • St.Petersburg (Piter)
  • St.Petersburg (Florida)
  • MacKenzie Scott (Bezos)
  • Igor Strelkov (Girkin, DNR, Ukraine)

As you can see the usage is quite comprehensive and brackets serve multiple different purposes. They help clarify, they help to distinguish, they provide more keywords and allow to find them easier, they give more context, they combine different languages and cultures together, they allow for different writing/latinisation styles, they nudge towards something important and help to concentrate on essential, etc.

Current workaround (optional)

Currently one could use dashes, but while they are clunky in some cases (“georgia-country”, “georgia-state”), they are totally wrong in other cases.
