Use case or problem
Allow the “Go to Next/Previous Tab” command to cycle tabs between tabs in the same tab group and another tab group.
To not make it a default behavior, you can set a toggle in the options: Allow tab jumping between editors.
P.S. There is the “Focus to left/right tab group” command, however you must use one command to skip group and another to go to next tab. Having the possibility to do it with the same command if you wish, can be interesting.
Proposed solution
Already described, only allow tab switching between editors.
