Use case or problem
When you have the same canvas opened up adjacent to itself and want to make connections between nodes.
Proposed solution
Allow connection lines to be created connecting nodes of the same canvas opened in adjacent tab groups. To accomplish this, after dragging out a connection line, but before reaching the border between tab groups, pressing and holding down Shift would allow this to work without interfering with the current panning behavior when dragging past a canvas border. To be clear the connection line would be started from a node in the one tab group and ended on a node in the adjacent tab group.
