I like to keep the dates in the format YYYY/MM/DD for folder hierarchy. It would be great if when doing import from Roam Research we can change the format of the dates to this as an option of Markdown import plugin

I have Directory Opus and using this file explorer is very easy to rename all markdowns imported from Roam Research but I was not able to find a good way when the date is inside a markdown - and it is necessary to modify all of them in order to have the connections working properly. I’m still looking for an automatically way to do that.

I agree with you. Adding this feature to Obsidian would make much easier the migration process.
