All files have disappeared

What I’m trying to do

I am relatively new to Obsidian.
I opened it this morning and none of the files I have created are there.
Obsidian is completely empty.

Things I have tried

I created a new file and then looked to see where it was saved.
But there are no other files there.

Search the forum for threads titled similarly where admins and helpers usually ask about where one’s vault is located and what sync is used.
No one can help you with so little information given.
