I need something like the editing toolbar.
Needs to be customizable, have the back and forth button thing, and NO AI ANYWHERE.

An option is to use the previous version before they added the AI cruft. It should probably work for a while.

I have been working for months on a plugin (full featured WYSIWYG), this may fill that gap. I’m afraid to mention it specifically because of the first-post-no-self-promo rule. im new to the forum space so please forgive me

Really curious about what you guys are talking about. Is this a core feature of Obsidian or a community plugin? I haven’t noticed any AI on my Obsidian and there’s no default toolbar that I know of.

No, not a core feature on desktop. A popular community plugin added AI features and some folks are looking for AI free alternatives.
