AI integration Copilot vs. SystemSculpt - my experience

I’ve been actively using the paid plugins Copilot and System Sculpt with the paid GPT API. I’ve been using the Copilot plugin for several months, and its Commands feature significantly simplifies note creation. I’ve had no issues with the plugin’s registration or maintenance, and I haven’t received any marketing messages from the Copilot creators during this time.

In parallel, I tried System Sculpt. Immediately after payment, I encountered a problem with the license key, which I had to request via email. While seeking help, I noticed many similar posts on the forum, indicating this issue has persisted for over a year. Even after receiving the license key, it took me additional hours to get System Sculpt running, which was resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling. The interface worked satisfactorily but didn’t offer a system for extending functions like Copilot/Commands does. Currently, I’ve had to disable System Sculpt because it was getting stuck on embedding, which took hours.
I must add, with a touch of sarcasm, that the main strength of System Sculpt lies in its extensive marketing, which is truly well-crafted.

Hi MilanKo,

Thank you for sharing your experience with both AI services.

Personally I have only used CoPilot with a BYO API Aggregator and found the Plugin to be great for seeing related notes and experimenting with RAG inside Obsidian. The plugin did chug my Vault a little though and ended up uninstalling it.

I still prefer using no AI specific plugin as a middle man as the user experience is usually better having a chat aggregotor in a simple Custom Frame or Web Viewer.

Haven’t seen the System Sculpt solution but you have provided some good insights.
