Hi team and community,
I know there have already been many feature requests and plugin developments for adding AI-assisted features within the local Obsidian vault — and this is great!
However, one major opportunity is still missing:
AI-assisted interaction with published content in Obsidian Publish.
Use Case / Problem
When I publish content via Obsidian Publish, that content is already up-to-date and well-structured.
I would love to have an AI chat interface that can interact with that published content — either:
- Embedded directly in the Publish site (e.g. a chatbot or side panel), or
- As a connected service that can dynamically query the Publish content.
Why is this useful?
- It allows visitors and myself to query published knowledge conversationally.
- Dynamic and always current — no need to export and upload static files to external AI services.
- Example: navigating the official Obsidian Help!
Currently, I copy parts of Help and upload them to tools like NotebookLM or Gemini, but this is static and needs to be repeated whenever the Help changes.
If Publish + AI were integrated, this would automatically stay updated.

Better onboarding for new users
More interactive documentation and knowledge bases
Could greatly enhance published Help, Wiki, Company knowledge bases, Personal knowledge sharing

I am still a relatively new user of Obsidian and the forum.
I tried searching for existing discussions on this topic, but I didn’t find anything that exactly matches this use case.
If this has already been discussed or is already on the roadmap, please feel free to merge this request or move it to the appropriate place! 
Summary
I would love to see:
AI-assisted querying of published Obsidian content — integrated with Obsidian Publish.
This would unlock dynamic, up-to-date, interactive experiences for published knowledge — with all the power of AI, without constant manual updates.
