I use the Auto Note Mover plugin to automatically to move notes to the right folder:
obsidian://show-plugin?id=auto-note-mover
For example, people all get moved to the People folder, projects to the Projects folder.
Also work for status. When something I’m writing changes status from #idea to #draft, Auto Note Mover will move it from the Ideas folder to the Drafts folder.
