I imagine this can speed up our writing, just to highlight the word you want to find a synonym or different expression. What do you think?

Perhaps we could go further with synonyms and use something like the Datamuse API - Datamuse API to find not only synonyms but related words even rhyming words.

I was just going to create a thread for this. I’ll add my thought here.

Another nice to have feature as a plugin would be a dictionary/thesaurus. This could work by highlighting a word and having results in a separate panel, probably in the right sidebar.

Just another feature I found useful in writemonkey and if Obsidian would like to be more useful as a creative writing app this is a great plugin idea.

I believe writemonkey uses this
