I think that having a favorite list for the customs themes will be a life saver when choosing a new theme or wanting to go back to a old custom theme.
I think this would be an excellent idea. Would love to see it. I’ve got a ton of themes installed, experimenting with various looks, and it would be truly helpful to be able to tag some as Favorites, the ones that work best.
I can’t imagine I’m alone in this, and it doesn’t seem like a tough implementation. Consider it for the next release?

Good news! I implemented this feature as a Plugin named Favorites it is vault independent so every vault has access to the same Favorit list. As a bonus it also works with Plugins.
I would appreciate if you try it and if any feedback I would love to hear from you here or if any issues or feature request on GitHub.
I initially intended to wait until the plugin was added to Obsidian’s plugin list before posting anything here, but five months have already passed. Therefore, if you would like to install it manually now, you may do so. The files can be found here.
