Adding [text] the text is blue why?

Someone answered me on the discord that it's a side effect of the url being [](). Or is it hidding another function? or is it a bug?

The part of Obsidian that highlights Markdown is too greedy in trying to highlight Markdown links. If you switch to reading view, you’ll see it rendered correctly.

The behavior can apparently be changed with CSS, because it doesn’t happen in every theme — see for example the Minimal theme.

Since the developer of Minimal made Obsidian’s new default theme (currently in Insider builds only), I’m hoping the problem will be fixed when that comes out.
