Adding site-specific user created blocklist in Web Viewer

I don’t know if this is a bug report or a feature request, but I did check one of the default blocking rules URL (https://easylist.to/easylist/easylist.txt) to contain the same format that my custom rules contain

Use case or problem

I use my custom blocking rules to remove elements like youtube or reddit sidebar recommendations, navbars of distracting websites, etc. I have it hosted on github, so that I can use the same list on all my devices.

YouTube is one of my main sources of content consumption, but I really can’t use YouTube without my blocklist.

Proposed solution

Support these filters: Static filter syntax · gorhill/uBlock Wiki · GitHub
Again, I am not sure if this is a bug or a feature request. My guess is that Obsidian supports global filters and not site-specific filters.

Current workaround (optional)

split Obsidian and browser windows and use my browser for watching YouTube videos and Obsidian for taking notes

This is unimportant and I know Web viewer is not meant to be a fully-fledged browser, but please: spaces/profiles to separate my college and personal emails, browsing histories and accounts

+1. Without this feature, Obsidian risks becoming more of a distraction than a productivity tool, especially for someone like me who tends to impulsively search for things online. I hope it will eventually support browser extensions, particularly something like uBlock, to help block distractions. Additionally, I’d like to see an option to disable the search bar entirely—right now, I can literally visit gaming websites and play game inside Obsidian, which is hilarious but counterproductive. While I understand the developers intended this feature to reduce context switching and improve focus, it often ends up being a source of distraction, undermining its purpose. For now, I’ll keep the Web Viewer turned off to avoid these issues.
