Visual shortcut for command “Reveal file in navigation” is missing.
Crosshair button in navigation pane like IntelliJ IDEA is using here.

The community plugin “Reveal Active File Button” does this.
I have work vault in which I would prefer built-in features over enabling any community plugins.

Post was resolved with suggestion to use a hotkey, but this is not possible on mobile platform.
I’d love this as well.
I was about to propose IntelliJ approach as well, it’s very handy. When working with complex structures, this functionaliry is very useful, and in Obsidian it takes too much time to click on it.
I can’t install community plugins as well.
A button to permanently reveal the active file will be added in 1.8.2
