I’d really like to see the ability to encrypt individual notes added as a core feature like the one in Bear.
I know about Meld Encrypt and usually don’t mind relying on a plugin, but for note encryption, relying on a solo community volunteer to implement encryption correctly and ensure that the features continues to work reliably is inherently inadequate.
Nothing against the Meld Encrypt dev at all and I appreciate all their hard work, but it’s a community plugin, and if it ever breaks or is abandoned, you could permanently lose access to your encrypted notes.
If any feature ever needed to be sherlocked, it’s this one.
