Add Property dropdown list order priority changed since v1.9

I put this in Help, but on reflection I think it’s a bug… or at least an unintended feature:

What I’m trying to do:

get the Add property dropdown to list the most used property first… like the Property sidebar does.

It used to do this - I’m pretty sure.

But, since v1.9 → "removed support for the properties tag, alias, cssclass in favor of tags, aliases and cssclasses

Those last three now belligerently force themselves to the top of the Add property dropdown.

Things I have tried

I’ve looked at the properties settings, but it looks like all you can do is assign a hotkey.

In the side bar they are not at the top, my most used property is. And this is how the drop down used to operate I think.

yes, the order has changed. However, it wasn’t sorted by frequency in 1.8.10.

Thanks very much for the reply.

It was definitely doing something different before v1.9 though.

Until v1.9 my property “ontology_association” was always top of the drop-down… so it can’t have been alphabetical either.

Order creation perhaps?

No way of changing it to resemble the property pane though I assume?
