Add Property dropdown list order changed since v1.9

What I’m trying to do:

get the Add property dropdown to list the most used property first… like the Property sidebar does.

It used to do this - I’m pretty sure.

But, since v1.9 → "removed support for the properties tag, alias, cssclass in favor of tags, aliases and cssclasses

Those last three now belligerently force themselves to the top of the Add property dropdown.

Things I have tried

I’ve looked at the properties settings, but it looks like all you can do is assign a hotkey.

Anyone else?

Did you update those particular properties recently, either manually or with automation? Maybe to meet the new specs? Because I would expect that to make them your most used properties right now. Over time, other properties will move up the list again.

Those three are nowhere in sight in my suggester in v1.9.12, so it doesn’t seem like they’re being forced to the top.

Hi,

thanks for taking the time to reply.

I don’t use those properties at all - aliases , cssclasses, tags

In the side bar they are not at the top, my most used property is.

But in the dropdown list when you add a new property to a file, they are there in that order:

One of those things where ‘I’m sure it wasn’t like this yesterday…’

My workflow was: created new file, hit command : and add my most used property.

Would seem connected to the v1.9 removing the singular versions: tag , alias , cssclass.

Since aliases , cssclasses, tags are system defaults that can’t be deleted, I guess they are somehow prioritised in the dropdown but not in the sidebar.

Hurrumph.

So I get this->

Got it now. And you’re right, those three show up at the top of my drop-down suggester too. Good luck on your quest!
