Add Option keep collpased sidebar when open new file

Use case or problem

When I open new file, the sidebar automatically expand. Is very tedious for me, Add Option keep collpased sidebar when open new file, please. Furthermore, would it be possible to add that when I open a new file in file explorer, all the other folders opened by the previous opened files are closed? When I open many files, obsidian it becomes slow because it has many files to show me in file explorer, instead it should only show me the files that I would still see with reveal file in navigation.

I don’t experience this. I think you should test without plugins, to make sure this isn’t just a plugin. You can use the Sandbox vault for this too.

And if you use “Recent Files” make sure you update it, because I learned it had a bug where it was sometimes stealing focus. This is fixed if you update your plugins.

For now, I’ll move this to Help while we investigate.
