Add column in table using keyboard

What I’m trying to do

When I edit a table I would expect tab to create a new column if pressed when the cursor is the last column. It however makes the cursor jump to the first column of the next line.
Is there any other key that allows to create a new column instead?

Things I have tried

Press tab, SHIFT+TAB…

You should be able to assign table related hotkeys in Settings > Hotkeys
(They’re just unassigned by default)

Another way, if you don’t want/need to assign shortcuts/hotkeys:

When your cursor is placed in a cell in a table, you can trigger the command palette (ctrl/cmd + p) and look for the table related command available

Right, I didn’t think about it. It would be much better and intuitive if the column is created with tab when the cursor is in the last column. This I cannot achieve with a custom hot-key, but I guess I have a good workaround

It will be more comfort if users can customize the behavior of the tab and enter keys in a table :grinning:
