Ability to use other hosting companies to host our published files

Use case or problem

Most people use their own hosting company for their websites and other files. We are restricted to using your hosting solution for published vaults, this is very restrictive.

Proposed solution

The ability to integrate an FTP option in “Publish” that can connect to our hosting companies FTP server and publish required files on that platform as opposed to being limited to your hosting solution, which is somewhat restricted compared to other hosting solutions.

Obsidian Publish is an Obsidian product and the way it works it can’t be hosted by anybody else.

There are several other products, free and paid, that use markdown files to generate a website.
