Ability to install a community plugin locally and keep safety mode active

Use case or problem

I use Obsidian on the job and do not want to disable the safe mode to use community plug-ins such a Calendar since that would be a security issue.

Proposed solution

Allowing installation of a plugin locally. Would like documentation on how to do this if this is allowed.

You can already install a plugin locally instead of having Obsidian “phone home,” but that’s not “Safe mode.”

Safe mode is there specifically to protect users from third party plugins executing malicious code and there’s no real way to do that if the plugin is installed. See: Security of the plugins
