A workflow to automatize the creation of notes?

When I create a note, I systematically insert an internal link to that note in an general index which I divide into as many sections as I have in my vault. In this way, I’m able to navigate easily within my notes. I was wondering if I could automatize this process? Is there any Alfred shortcut or any Apple script I could use to do that? It would avoid me to have to, first, create a note, then, insert a link.
