A setting for the 'number of spaces' to use when 'Use Tabs' is disabled

Use case or problem

I prefer to use spaces rather than tabs, and the ‘use tabs’ setting allows me to do this. I also prefer to use 2 spaces rather than 4 when indenting, but currently I have no way to configure this within Obsidian.

Proposed solution

Add a setting that allows users to set the number of spaces to use when ‘use tabs’ is disabled (in Sublime Text this setting is called tab_size)

Current workaround (optional)

  • Manually using the spacebar to add 2 spaces
  • Using tab then deleting 2 spaces
  • Copying/pasting the correct ‘level’ of spacing when entering multiple items.

Related feature requests (optional)

  • Customizing universal tab-size
    • This is similar, but different. This issue is more about customizing the tab width when ‘use tabs’ is enabled (whereas mine is for when it is disabled), though it feels like both settings would be fairly closely related)
