Use case or problem

I was typing notes needed to switch to another note from within the same vault. normally i break my notes in smaller chunks but this one was long. obsidian sent me back at the beginning of my note.

Proposed solution

Solution is very simple . remember last cursor position for writing note. (maybe for reading)

Current workaround (optional)

none . i just need to scroll to get there. web pages remember their last position even if you click a link to another page and then click back to the page. after a search in ecommerce app like amazon when you go back they remember last position you were.

Not using it myself, but you might check Remember cursor position plugin

I personally prefer this way because I can use Outline to navigate in the note. However navigate back/forward should retain cursor position, related FR:
