"+1": signal or noise to the Obsidian developers?

As the title suggests: when users of the forum post “+1” (and no/little more than that) to show their support for a feature request, is this something that the developers see as a good way to see what feature requests are popular, or is it mostly considered to be noise?

I’m wondering because the forum also has a  button for expressing support, but I’m seeing both techniques being used (and I know that Github added the “Reaction buttons” to combat huge “+1”-threads).

Hi Linuxed, great question. I recall that the devs have said that they use the number of  on a top-level post as an indicator of how much support an idea or request has.
