Hi, Sean here. I’m an old school (like starting in '83) techie, early Unix adopter, assembly, C, perl etc etc. wrote the ICB internet chat in '88, later corporate sysadmin, and then devops because, well, devops. :sunglasses:

Retired from that now, but still supergeek. And now Obsidian. I’ve had few pieces of software change my life, but Obsidian is a total sea change. I finally have a framework I can build my cognitive science project upon. I’m just hoping to save us all, or at least enjoy trying.

It’s time we stopped being miserable. I want to use a large connection of recent ideas and materials (mostly in the last 20 years) in neuroscience and cognitive science to explore what we know—and what we have incorrectly assumed for a long time—about how our minds operate. I want to learn what can work with our instinctive programming, something largely ignored, and find ways that we can improve the human condition. Thus, the project.
