Wandering through the personal knowledge management world since 2019
- Loved Notion (awesome UX) and The Brain (awesome for making connections) but they were too commercial and SaaS oriented IMHO.
- Obsidian was very limited at that time.
- Impressed by RoamResearch, but it was costly and SaaS oriented. Tried TiddlyWiki, open-source and was promising but for small knowledge bases, didn’t grow well and limited for multimedia.
- Even started making my own piece of software with some computer engineering classmates, but was too demanding.
- Saw how far Obsidian got improved in the meantime.
- Happy user since 2022
