Obsidian user since my vault got out of hand, now mostly writing plugins.
I build **Save2Vault** — a plugin that saves X (Twitter) posts and threads into your vault as Markdown. You reply `@save2obsidian` under a post, and the note shows up in your vault: thread context preserved as structured Markdown, images kept with the note, frontmatter and file names driven by Mustache templates you control. No X developer account or API token needed, and it works on mobile Obsidian, not desktop-only. Read-only access to X — it never posts, likes, follows, or DMs. MIT licensed.

Plugins I actually keep enabled and would recommend to anyone starting out:
- **Dataview** — turns your notes into something you can query. Changed how I structure everything.
- **Templater** — the one that makes new-note friction disappear.
- **Omnisearch** — search that actually finds the thing.
- **Excalidraw** — for when the idea is a diagram, not a paragraph.
- **Calendar** + **Periodic Notes** — the daily-note workflow that finally stuck for me.
Happy to talk about Markdown pipelines, plugin APIs, or why syncing anything isharder than it looks. Feedback and bug reports on Save2Vault are always welcome.
