I am a software engineer and technical trainer. I spent over 30 years in the mobile telecomms industry developing embedded software and training on the technology and products.

What lead me to obsidian is that i am documenting my thoughts on the design and implementation of a simulation tool for mobile networks. There are a whole heap of concepts to learn and describe that i need to implement and i originally used just a small collection of markdown notes outside of any app. Then i discovered obsidian through youtube and thought it would be a good way to organise those notes and trigger further thoughts about the system I am designing. Now that I am using it, i feel it is easier to just note down my thoughts and link them together so productivity that the design has improved.
