Zettelkasten prefixer slows significantly when using custom date format

Steps to reproduce

  1. Enable Zettelkasten prefixer
  2. Set Zettel ID format to YYYY-MM-DD
  3. Create new Zettelkasten note

Expected result

Note is created immediately, using the format provided

Actual result

Note creation takes seconds.

Environment

  • Operating system: macOS monterey 21A5294g
  • Obsidian version: 0.12.15

Additional information

This does not occur when using the default format.

I can’t reproduce. Post a screen recording of this happening in help vault.

Huh, bummer. I don’t see this happening in the help Vault either. Is there an easy way for me to debug what could be causing this?

Disable the plugins one by one.
