Wrong tab is shown after tab is closed or deleted

If the change is the cause of your problem, there is a feature request asking for an option for the old behavior:

Option - Left Tab activated after closed Tab

Please return back the function where closing a tab activates the tab to the left and not the tab to the right. I would be interested to know who wanted this function and why. My behavior is that I click on a link on a page with Ctrl and a new tab opens. When I close it, I want to go back to what I was working on. Instead, the other open tab is activated.
