Word Count not updating consistently in editor mode

Steps to reproduce

Open a new single page in editor mode
Begin typing

Expected result

Word Count updates with each new word

Actual result

Word count and Character count remain at 0 until a preview page is opened

Environment

• Operating system: Windows 10

• Obsidian version: 0.6.5

• Using custom CSS: No
