My desired workflow is:
- To have every quote from book/paper I use for my research in separate notes.
- To write papers in Obsidian and cite these quotes in the text using wiki-links.
- Then to cite the same source, but using Zotero Integration/Pandoc Reference List plugins next to my wiki-link citation.
- The most important part: Finally, to export paper using Pandoc/Enhancing Export plugins in such way that I wouldn’t need to go through exported DOCX file and manually delete all wiki-links.
The idea is to have both internal link to quote and Zotero citation before export and only Zotero citations after export. It is crucial for me to have an ability to look up the source text while in Obsidian and to not waste time deleting wiki-links to quotes in the exported papers.
Things I have tried
I’ve tried inserting citations (i.e. @authordate) as a replace text for wiki-links, so it looked like [[wikilink-to-quote|@authordate]], but it basically breaks both of them or one of them, depending on syntax.
