In the last version (1.8.4. windows desktop) I have file property problems (have already posted a question on the forum) and I don’t have those in version 1.7.7. so I want to go there again but that update keeps getting unsolicited.
Now I have Current version: v1.8.4 Installer version: v1.7.7
Actually I want to go back to 'current version 1.7.7 because there the file properties do work.
So how can I prevent that update if the ‘automatic update’ is checked off? And how can I get the stable 1.7.7 version back on?
Plugins not working properly in v1.8.4
- number headings
- recent files
- editing menu bar → icons not responsive
- floating tocs
What I’m trying to do
Like te run a stable windows desktop version. While v1.8.4 is giving problems with core and community plugins.
Things I have tried
- uninstalled the plugins (number headings, recent files, editing menu bar, floating tocs)
- reboot PC (Windows 11)
- Reinstalled the plugins
- used 2 more different themes
- Uninstalled Obsidian.mb (4 times now) (Windows uninstall and Geek untinstaller)
- reboot pc
- Reinstalled version 1.7.7. (also 4 times)
- deleted c:\users\username\AppData\Local\obsidian-updater
