When writing, I want to see only the current paragraph

Please, would you be able to help me out on this one. I am using Obsidian to write my dissertation. I thought it was a good idea since I have problems with messy organization and horrible incoherent follow of ideas because I always end up talking about to many things at once. Having many things to say is a good quality if controled. Obsidian helps me because I cannot control this superpower. You get my meaning.

So I want to be able work on a setence or at least on a paragraph at a time without seem everything that belongs up in the hierarchy or are in the same level, i.e., other paragraphs that belong to that section I am workin on. I thought I had seen a fucntion that brings the section you are working at into focus or center mode, even if it is a child of a child. I think I dreamed of it because I could no longer find it.

My writing is a mess, I need to focus on every child / paragraph at a time. If I could do this at a setence level, it would save me lots of pain.

I have a question. I can’t make it work. I tried to set up the hotkeys, but they don’t work. It is my fault for sure. The only thing that is working is the hightlight line but I can’t get it into focus mode as in the screen capture.

Anyway, it already helps a lot. Thank you so much.
