When moving a link in a list up or down the list does not reorder

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create an ordered list of several items.
  2. Use the command “move line up” or “move line down”
  3. The line moves up or down, but the list does not renumber and the line in the list now has the wrong number.

Expected result

When a line in a list is moved up or down the list should reorder to that items remain in numerical order.

Actual result

Line numbers are incorrect.

I think this is intentional.

  1. In Markdown, the order of the numerals used in live preview / source mode is irrelevant, save for the initial numeral (see the screenshot below).

  2. In reading mode, the numbering will be incremental.

  3. If you want to reapply incremental numerals in live preview / source mode, just select the list and toggle numbering off and on.
