When linking to a Base file (either in properties or in the note body), it doesn’t automatically set a display name in a link ([[Movies.base]]), unlike how linking to a Canvas file does ([[Canvas file.canvas|Canvas file]])
This seems inconsistent, and it looks cleaner without file extension, so I wrote a bug report for this
Steps to reproduce
- Create a blank note
- Enter a link to a random Canvas
- Enter a link to a random Base
- See, that Canvas has a display name set, while Base doesn’t
Did you follow the troubleshooting guide? [Y/N]
Yes
Expected result
[[Movies.base|Movies]]
Actual result
[[Movies.base]]
Environment
Seems irrelevant, but i’ll paste anyways
