What's the difference between Regex Templaters and the so-called plain Templaters?

Searching through the documents & helps and there is nothing that STATE in English why I need Regex templaters when I use the list of templaters lol. I do notice there is something different but I’m not so sure about it.
Also, when choosing where to place templated-notes into pre-selected folders TEMPLATER DOES NOT DO IT. Not sure if this problem began right after installing Obsidian version 1.8.4 I believe. Maybe not.

I assume this is about Templater third party plugin.

Understanding is achieved by the docs. There is not much about these.

Folder templates is less advanced, but file regex templates can be used easily too:

It goes without saying you need to have the templates written for each use case first.
Then you ask or search the forum for particular implementations.
