Web Clipper will not collect unless Obsidian is closed

What I’m trying to do

I am using windows 11 and have version 1.12.1 of obsidian.
I have a web clipper template for YouTube Videos and Articles (I am using Construct by Dee’s templates).
If I have Obsidian opened and attempt to clip either an article or a video, nothing happens. But when I close Obsidian and attempt a clip Obsidian will open and the clip will deposit correctly in my vault.

Things I have tried

I have not found a solution to this issue yet, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like this, with a workaround there too:

Obsidian://open (and Web Clipper) works only when Obsidian is closed; no response when Obsidian is already running (Windows)

I have found the root cause, which is an unintentional change in the command line processing order where the URI is processed after checking if the user enabled CLI access. In the next update (1.12.2) this should be fixed. In the meantime as a workaround, you can enable CLI (Settings - General - Advanced - Command line interface) to make it work again. Sorry about that.
