Web clipper is creating table

What I’m trying to do

Use web clipper on html newsletter.

Trying to add clip of an html newsletter as a markdown note in obsidian.

Things I have tried

Checked settings and reviewed developer console for errors.

I haven’t seen anything on this. My issue is that when I try to use the obsidian web clipper extension on chrome, the resulting note is an unreadable markdown table.

In what way is it unreadable?

Is the page marked up as a table? You can check by right-clicking and choosing “View source” (or enable Chrome’s developer tools so you can inspect specific parts of the page).
